The Codex is an advanced computing device that is acquired by completing the Act of Infamy, Steal the Codex of Knowledge. It is the first step in completing Objective 6 - Road to Doomsday.
The vast information contained in this object make it possible to finish the plans for your Doomsday Device. Once the object is stolen and taken back to base, after a mercenary scientist agrees to help you understand it, the device must be used in a research process with another laboratory object to conceive the idea for your Doomsday Device. After your choose an option, the Codex will be destroyed automatically.
