Deep Six is the Super Agent for J.A.W.S. as well as a potential henchman in Evil Genius 2 exclusive to the Oceans Campaign Pack DLC.
Description[]
Deep six wears what seems to be a heavy red diving suit with several designs on them. He has a small beard and wears an eyepatch. His suit's arms are two robotic claws that he uses to fight minions. On the back is his oxygen tank.
Personality wise, Deep Six tends to act much like a sailor. In combat, he will often make various sailing puns, such as "It will take a bigger crew than that to sink me.".
Behavior[]
In order to encounter Deep Six, the Oceans Campaign Pack DLC must be enabled. Deep Six acts like all super agents. After causing enough issues in J.A.W.S territory, Deep Six will appear on the map, and begin to hop between the ocean Territories. Should the player start a mission in a territory he is in, Deep Six will begin to observe your minions. Once the mission is completed or cancelled, Deep Six will begin to prepare a team to attack the lair. The player can send some minions to slow Deep Six, and prevent him from bringing back up.
Unlike other Super Agents, Deep Six enters through your base from one of your Submarine Bays. He will swim out from one, and his team will follow suit. Once his team is out, Deep Six will then begin to attack any minions he comes across, in an attempt to kill as many as possible.
In combat, Deep Six lacks a ranged weapon, but hits fairly hard in melee. With high vitality, Deep Six focuses on tanking your minions, while his Divers shoot them from afar. When his health hits 10, Deep Six will then let off a smoke bomb and escape. After a period of time, he will respawn on the world map to continue the cycle.
Storyline[]
WARNING: This page contains spoilers on Deep Six's questline. If you wish to defeat Deep Six on your own, stop reading now.
Deep Six's story line is as follows: The Grumpy Old Man At Sea -> Live and Let Dive -> Unholy Diver/The Death Aquatic
In The Grumpy Old Man At Sea, Deep Six introduces himself to your minions. The minions seem quite impressed, but state they still have to kill him. First, the player must get a great white shark tank from the world map. Afterwards, several J.A.W.S divers will swim into the lair, and must be captured. A total of three of them must be interrogated using the Great White Shark Tank. Once that is done, the player must complete a research project. The player must then lure in Deep Six from the world stage. Once he arrives, deal with him and his team accordingly. The mission will then be completed.
In Live and Let Dive, the player attempts to sabotage Deep Six's diving suit. First, the player must have their engineers work on making an E.M.P with a special project. Afterwards, the player must donate to an NGO on the world stage. Deep Six will then thank the genius, and they will claim they will give him the money, which lures him into a trap. Then the player has to fire the EMP on the world stage. With Deep Six gone, the player will then have to steal their money back from the NGO. However, Deep Six comes back, claiming the ocean will not kill him, and then attacks the base. The player must then deal with him once more.
Once that is done, the player must choose between two missions. Either The Death Aquatic, which will kill Deep Six, or Unholy Diver, which converts him into a henchman.
In The Death Aquatic, Deep Six has begun working on an EMP proof suit. The player must take it from the world stage, and sabotage it. With an engineering project, the player must sabotage his suit with an engineering project. With the project complete, the player must have the diving suit placed. Near a submarine bay is recommended to speed up the process. Deep Six will realize he has been tricked, and will then try to fight the player. Deep Six will now be vulnerable, and can be killed off in combat. Once he is defeated, Deep Six will comment he wish he did more with his life. Deep Six will now be dead, and the player can now exploit the oceans without Deep Six and his crew diving into their base.
In Unholy Diver, The player must steal Deep Six's diving suit from the world stage. Instead of sabotaging it however, the player must modify it to prove to Deep Six that working for you is a much better idea. Deep Six will thank the player, but will claim that he will continue working for J.A.W.S as they care about the ocean. The player must then capture and interrogate a J.A.W.S agent in the lair. The player must then frame jaws at a computer console in the lair. Deep Six will then hold the belief that J.A.W.S has been dumping tons of pollution in the ocean. Feeling betrayed, he realizes that the world is doomed, and wants to cash in on it. Deep Six will then join the genius as a henchman.
If the player did not either Exterminate, or recruit Deep Six by the end of the game, he and the remaining super agents will raid the base at the end of the game to try and stop the players attempt at world domination.
Trivia[]
- Deep Six is the only super agent who gives an Item.
- Unlike the rest of the super agents, Deep Six lacks voice lines from the genius. This is due to the voice actors of the other genius's leaving Rebellion Developments.
- Upon release of the DLC, Deep Six has the unique feature of being both a Super Agent and a potential Henchman. Several live events were announced as the same time of the DLC giving players the opportunity to unlock a patch making the same feature available for others Super Agents (with the exception of Blue Saint and the Steele Clones).
