Loot are valuable and special items and objects that are only obtained through certain Acts of Infamy. Loot has a special stat-boosting aura surrounding it, boosting one or more of your minions' stats. Loot cannot be bought, only stolen.
Overview[]
Your nefarious scheming may enable you to acquire valuable artifacts from around the world. Placing stolen loot around your base will impress your minions.
All Loot objects have circles of influence, within which various minion statistics will be replenished. They must be kept safe at all costs, because having them retrieved by the Forces of Justice would be humiliating, and would cost you Notoriety.
Loot is a favourite target for some agents. If a burglar sees a piece of loot, they will attempt to steal it. If they succeed in sneaking it back out of your base and away, you will have to do the Act of Infamy again to get it back.
A loot object's circle of influence is rendered useless when placed on a freezer. This also works for the negative effects of the incomplete Native American totem.
Stats effects[]
Different loot items have a different Circle of Influence, just like the Evil Geniuses have one. Left clicking on the loot item will reveal the size and nature of this circle. Some stretch only about 2 tiles far while others stretch as far as 6 tiles. The stats of the minions, which are standing within the CoI of the loot item, are affected by the loot. However, each loot affects different stats. Also, the frequency and the degree at which the stats are affected is different from one loot item to another, making some loot items more powerful than others.
All loot items, except the separate pieces of the Totem Pole and the caged primate, positively affect the Loyalty stat of each minion within its radius. Many of the loot items however also cover a second and sometimes a third stat. The completed totem is the only loot item that supports all stats except health. Below are lists of which loot items support which stat. Most loot items will appear multiple times. The loot items are sorted primarily by effectiveness, then by CoI.

Über-loot[]
Main article: Über-loot
Über-loot refers to loot items which need to be stolen in order to complete Objective 4. These loot items possess a heat level of 25, making them the hottest items below the completed Totem Pole and Doomsday loot items.
Ark of the Covenant
Million Dollar Bill
Samurai Armor
Excalibur
Eiffel Tower
Mummy's Sarcophagus
Heat of loot items[]
As loot items are highly impressive items to possess, they all carry a certain amount of heat. Uber-loot items carry the highest amount of heat. If agents discover a loot item, they will not hesitate to steal it back, which should be avoided at all costs.
Tips on loot[]
Carefully consider where to place which loot items. For example placing an endurance-affecting loot item in the Mess Hall or barracks is quite a waste, since the mess hall or barracks themselves are rooms where the minions restore their endurance stats. Instead place it in a location where endurance of the minions is most negatively affected, such as in the Training Room. An endurance-boosting loot item near a Diplomat Trainer will ensure that most spindoctors manage to complete training without passing out on zero-endurance as they usually do. Similarly, a loot item that only boosts loyalty is best placed where minions frequent, like your Main Corridor or Staff Room, keeping your minions' loyalty up while leaving your Evil Genius free to look over more important matters.
Stolen items which are not loot[]
Some items, which are stolen from the World Domination Screen, are not loot items but are required to be stolen in order to fulfill certain objectives. These items do carry a certain amount of heat though. These items are:
- Laboratory Research Machine
- First Research Tool (Laboratory Laser/Centrifuge/Impact-Stress Analyzer)
- Cloning Chamber
- Codex of Knowledge
- Resource Crates for construction of the rocket
Other non-loot base items affecting minion stats[]
During the game certain other base objects will become available for construction which also affect minion stats. These however are not loot-items as they are not stolen from the World Domination Screen. Click on the link the see more information on them
- Big Screen in the Control Room
- Mouse Maze in the Training Room
