Stats are attributes that every character in the game possesses, MinionsAgentsHenchmen, even the Evil Genius.

Overview[]

The stats represent their health, loyalty, smarts, attention and endurance. High stats mean they will operate well and optimally where low stats could mean they are in danger of under-performing, abandoning their post or even death. Each of these stats can be reduced by certain activities and traps but there are several ways of replenishing each of them as well.

Every person has five statistics displayed for their current feelings. The higher the statistic, the better the person is feeling.

  • Health: Determines the characters ability to survive physical damage. If it drops to zero, they will die.
  • Loyalty: Represents their commitment to work. Disloyal Minions are likely to cause trouble and may desert your organization. Agents reduced to zero loyalty will forget about work, and temporarily act like Tourists, but will snap out of this if they see something suspicious.
  • Smarts: Determines cleverness. People with low smarts are more likely to get caught by Traps. If they are drained to zero, they will become incapacitated, scratching their heads stupidly for a while. Agents reduced to zero Smarts will lose any Heat they may have picked up.
  • Attention: Represents alertness to trap sensors. Attentive people are more likely to avoid triggering them. When Attention is drained to zero, characters will stand and scratch their heads for a while. Agents reduced to zero Attention will forget which areas they have explored.
  • Endurance: This is a measure of fitness and energy. When reduced to zero, a person will collapse and remain unconscious for a time.
