Description[]
Zalika is a playable character in Evil Genius 2. She is confirmed to be a science type evil genius as evident by her appearance. Zalika herself often acts very egotistical and decadent.
Appereance wise, Zalika is a young woman with an exceptionally large beehive hairstyle and wears a suit similar to a biochemist with her upper arms exposed and high heels that appear to be part of the suit. She wears a headset and goggles which display a swirly pattern and elbow high gloves. Her head is encased in a large glass or plastic bulb type helmet.
Biography[]
"The ends justifies the means, and Zalika never dreams small.
She created the first artificial intelligence - the Integrated Robotic Intelligent System "I.R.I.S" - at the age of six, and beat it at chess a year later.
Zalika sees society the way it truly is: the patterns of individuals who think they are acting on free will. Most humans are dreary creatures who don't know what's good for them, and waste time with petty squabbles.
People want algorithms to tell them how to live. They need a single intelligence to bring about a Golden Age of prosperity. Humanity runs on code. It needs a Coder, and Zalika is just the supreme intelligence for the job."
Abilities[]
My plans take priority!: Zalika forms an aura around her and causes minions to rally to her. Minions will then prioritize task near her such as construction. Science minions receive a Buff when in this aura called 'My plans take priority!' which makes it so that research restored smarts, rather than draining it, allowing them to keep researching uninterrupted for much longer.
Repair: Immediately repair all items and extinguish all fires around Zalika with a swarm of nanobots. Costs smarts.
True Genius: Zalika knows everything. Her science minions are more capable than most, completing research much faster, and enjoying a 25% discount to salary.
Her execution of minions and means of fighting involves her wrist-mounted blaster, at first it fires a single beam dealing damage to a single target/minion. Later in her campaign her blaster can upgrade into a beam type blast for execution.
Doomsday Device[]
Zalika builds a doomsday device named V.O.I.D. in her campaign to take over the world. It is a machine that will brainwash all of humanity to make them subservient to the will of Zalika.
When fired, Heat will be lowered in the targeted region - the amount depending on the level of V.O.I.D used - and a Science scheme will spawn; it will also cause a number of your minions to turn into V.O.I.D. Worshippers which are hostile and need to be killed. Once the Science scheme is finished, a random uncompleted research option will complete corresponding to the level of V.O.I.D. that was used to fire:
- Level 1 will complete any research up to Tier 3
- Level 2 will complete any research up to Tier 4
- Level 3 will complete any research up to Tier 5
Note: If there is no unfinished research in the given tier, and no pending mission or side-mission research, the device has no additional benefit other than lowering Heat.
